First Day of the 100% 100 day challenge!

Ok well I am off and running, one small niche in the plans but nothing we can't handle. My sitter's daughter has the croup so no daycare for the rest of the week. I have a paper to write and Paul's books to do before school starts on the 18th. I think I will try to do the books this week then work on the paper next week while she is at daycare. I have never written an APA paper before so its a bit of a challenge in itself. Anyone out there that knows anything about it would be a God sent right now.!! Ok back to the weight loss. I feel less bloaty today..if I can use that as a real word. Maybe I am losing already. I am really trying this time to stay away from the daily weigh in by putting my scale in the closet but its driving me nuts...maybe I need to see it everyday to stay focused. I tried to practice the 100% yesterday but found out I am not so good at not tasting things while I am cooking. So new plan for tonight. I am making my husband something he loves but I hate...temptation gone!! haha might work...until I get the cravings under control. I forgot how much drinking all the water is a pain in the ass! I'm getting my workout in climbing up and down our stairs! Cheaper than a stairmaster at least!! LOL
Ok---I need to get to work so GOOD LUCK ALL! 100% from today on!

I weigh myself every morning, but I only count Mondays. I just don't let the day-to-day movement on the scale get to me too much. It helps me stay focused. So don't fret if you can't put the scale away. You just do whatever works for you.

Great job in committing to this challenge. I will be watching you. :)

Bob- Thank you for that watchful eye! I seem to let myself feel defeated if I see something other than a loss when I weigh in everyday.
Jen- Thanks I will look at that. I have the hacker book but didn't even notice she had a web site too!

Linked in from another blog and hope you don't mind.

I also weigh every day but only count the one on Sundays. Like Bob, I feel it helps to keep me focused. If you can't handle the ups and downs, you're better off not doing it, though.

As for the nibbles, try some sugar free gum of hard candy in your mouth while you cook. It worked for me.

I sent you an email about adding links to blogs. Let me know if I can help. Good luck with the gum and tasting things.
